In celebration of National Bike Month, MARC has released a new version of the Trails & Bikeways Map around the region.

MARC is hosting a free block party and health fair featuring health and wellness vendors

The project is a highlight of MARC’s Planning Sustainable Places (PSP) program.  

The Monthly Workforce Indicators offer a look at the regional workforce including both seasonally adjusted employment and unemployment, employment by industry, and the region’s employment growth ranking against 10 peer metros.

Last year was active early on – what does this year look like?

In mid-March, MARC’s long-term care ombudsman team learned that two skilled nursing facilities and one residential care facility in our region were closing.

On Friday, April 19, two metro cities received honors as Communities for All Ages. 

MARC will present the 2024 Regional Leadership Awards on June 14.

The forecasts, which show slower population and employment growth, are part of an update to the region’s long-range transportation plan, Connected KC 2050.
