<h4>Poor air quality can affect children more than adults. Kids tend to be outdoors more, and their developing lungs are more vulnerable to pollutants. There are simple, everyday actions that kids can do to help keep our air clean.</h4>

The Green Infrastructure Framework offers a planning and design approach to grow communities in ways that simultaneously tend to neighborhoods, jobs and nature.

The Project Approach builds on natural curiosity, enabling children to interact, question, connect, problem-solve, communicate, reflect, and more.

In the Kansas City region, the 911 Peer Support Team stands ready to help emergency dispatchers and calltakers cope with personal and job-related stress through a confidential peer-based assistance program.

Ride hailing, bike sharing, electric scooters — with all of these new ways to get around, the transportation environment in the Kansas City region is rapidly changing.
