Thursday, March 12, 2026
6 - 8 p.m.

EarlystART-St. Mark Child & Family Development Center
2008 East 12th Street
Kansas City, MO 64127

Training Description

This interactive workshop explores how to move beyond memorizing numbers and foster children’s understanding of mathematical concepts through hands-on, engaging activities. Participants will investigate ways to integrate math into everyday classroom experiences, explore connections between math and art, and practice developmentally appropriate measuring activities. The session draws from Grow Up Great activities and NAEYC’s guidance, aligning with DRDP indicators and NAEYC best practices. Educators will leave with strategies to make numeracy a meaningful, joyful part of children’s daily lives. While this is part of a series, this training can also be done as a standalone option.

Two Missouri clock hours will be given. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.
