Training Description

This interactive training, part of the five-part STEAM series, explores how open-ended art experiences promote creativity, critical thinking and vocabulary development in early learners. Educators will discover how to integrate developmentally appropriate practices, evidence-based strategies and rich vocabulary into art activities. Using Grow Up Great resources and NAEYC guidelines, participants will learn to facilitate art that encourages exploration, self-expression and academic language growth. While this is part of a series, it also functions as a standalone training opportunity.

Two Missouri clock hours will be given. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required. Registration closes Jan. 23, 2026.
