Coordinated Public Transit Human Services Transportation Plan

Guiding investment in enhanced mobility for older adults and individuals with disabilities in the Kansas City region

MARC and its regional partners maintain a Coordinated Public Transit Human Services Transportation Plan for the Kansas City region that outlines how transit agencies, social service agencies, municipalities and other transportation providers can most efficiently and effectively work together to improve regional mobility for individuals with special transportation needs.

This is plan is required by SAFETEA-LU federal legislation.

The preparation of this report was financed in part with funding from United States Department of Transportation (USDOT), administered by the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) and the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT). The opinions, findings and conclusions expressed in this publication are those of the authors and not necessarily those of USDOT, KDOT and MoDOT
