Training Description

As the saying goes, "There's no bad weather, just bad clothing." This interactive course will engage participants to consider their current outdoor routines and how they would want to increase their outdoor time. We will consider a variety of outdoor spaces and review the weather guidelines. We will review DRDP and NAEYC as guidance along with the knowledge in the room to plan a variety of outdoor activities.

Ammonia is one of the highest volume chemicals produced in the United States. It is used in the manufacturing of rocket fuels, synthetic fibers, yeast and explosives, with the most common use of fertilizer and as a refrigerant. With the current theft problem of ammonia for drug production, this class will familiarize you with nurse tanks, transport containers and storage facilities where releases might occur.

This eight (8)-hour course is locally developed by regional police officers and tactical medics. It was developed for regional first responders who will be exposed to and then asked to demonstrate techniques related to countermeasures when engaging with motivated attackers. This instructor-led training will start with classroom instruction which will build to demonstrated techniques and end with practical application scenarios involving simulations. Travel costs are not provided.
