Join us for an upcoming webinar on best practices in crisis communications during disaster and large-scale events Hundreds of thousands of visitors will descend on Kansas City for World Cup 2026, and cities and counties across the region, along with emergency response agencies, hospitals and health care systems, are preparing to help keep communities safe. 

Representatives from local governments and environmental organizations come together quarterly to develop a cooperative approach to water quality public education and to meet federal NPDES Phase I/II regulatory requirements.

In-person attendance is encouraged, and a catered lunch will be served.

This is a virtual meeting offered through Zoom. There is no cost for this event, but your registration is requested to attend. Login information will be provided following registration.

Planting Seeds: Reimagining Early Care and Education Summit

The Sport and Special Event Risk Management and Planning course is designed to develop capabilities for multi-agency collaboration pertaining to sport and special event safety and security. Through activity-based training modules, participants will enhance their ability for planning, risk assessment, training, and exercising practices specific to conducting sport and special events. The expectation is for participants to return to their respective organizations and coordinate the development of a sport and/or special event risk management and planning process. 

Regular meeting of the Total Transportation Policy Committee (TTPC).

Through activity-based training modules, participants will enhance their ability for planning, risk assessment, training, and exercising practices specific to conducting sport and special events. The expectation is for participants to return to their respective organizations and coordinate the development of a sport and/or special event risk management and planning process. 

These meetings are working sessions for regular district business.
