The Mid-America Regional Council Emergency Rescue Committee, commonly known as MARCER, promotes regional coordination and cooperation in emergency pre-hospital care for metropolitan Kansas City.

Regular monthly meeting of the MARC CSC Board. Meetings may be canceled when there is no business scheduled. 

Meetings are typically held on the fourth Tuesday of each month, but may be adjusted to accommodate holidays. Please note that there is no meeting in July.

The two-day grant management class is for grant recipient organizations across all disciplines. As such, in this class you'll learn how to manage your federal, state or local government grants in accordance with laws and mandatory compliance guidelines.

MARC will recognize projects in our region that demonstrate resilience and align with the Kansas City Regional Climate Action Plan. Project representatives will share short presentations communicating the impacts of these projects and answer questions.

In addition, we are excited to feature a keynote speech from climate resilience expert and Executive Director of PRE Collective, Shalini Vajjhala and host a panel on the future of resilience in the metro with local resilience leaders following the feature presentations.

ICS 300: Intermediate Incident Command System for Expanding Incidents covers incident management strategies for emergency response to all-hazard incidents that involve ICS coordination. The three-day course utilizes scenarios and exercises within a team environment to facilitate participant discussion. The course delivery is a "less paper" delivery and course materials will be emailed to participants in advance of the course to download to your electronic device.
