Training Description

This session builds teachers’ foundational understanding of how a research-informed early learning curriculum is structured and why play is central to how children learn.

Two Missouri clock hours will be given. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.
 

This eight-hour course is designed to enhance HazMat responders’ ability to analyze, plan, and implement a decontamination plan based on a risk-based response model in alignment with NFPA 470. Multiple methods will be discussed, and key characteristics will be identified to aid in selecting the appropriate type and method of decontamination—focusing on the what, why, and how of successful decontamination at a hazardous materials/WMD event, as well as how to make those decisions.

Regularly scheduled meeting of the MARRS Technical and User Committees.

Training Description

This session focuses on daily execution: planning, prepping, observing and communicating with families—all grounded in the idea that intentional play drives learning. It is part two of the "Let Them Play" training set. Part one is helpful but not mandatory.
