Training Description

This session builds teachers’ foundational understanding of how a research-informed early learning curriculum is structured and why play is central to how children learn.

This eight-hour course is designed to enhance HazMat responders’ ability to analyze, plan, and implement a decontamination plan based on a risk-based response model in alignment with NFPA 470. Multiple methods will be discussed, and key characteristics will be identified to aid in selecting the appropriate type and method of decontamination—focusing on the what, why, and how of successful decontamination at a hazardous materials/WMD event, as well as how to make those decisions.
