eICS is a web-based electronic Incident Command System that is used to facilitate incident planning and response for incidents that impact the region. It is the primary communication platform for information sharing and situational awareness for the MARC HCC.

The Mid-America Regional Council Emergency Rescue Committee, commonly known as MARCER, promotes regional coordination and cooperation in emergency pre-hospital care for metropolitan Kansas City.

The MARRS Management Council provides policy guidance and oversight of the radio system to ensure that a high quality, reliable system is available to the metropolitan area, meets the needs of emergency response agencies and is financed equitably.

What makes a street comfortable for biking? Is it the same for everyone? How does this understanding translate to planning and design decisions? The concept of bike comfort has greatly influenced how practitioners approach bicycle planning and design. Evaluating traffic volumes, speeds, and roadway configurations to estimate comfort has become common practice. However, practitioners and advocates increasingly recognize that whether people of all ages, abilities, and identities truly feel comfortable when biking is far more nuanced. 

Becoming an Inclusive Leader is a two-day experiential training designed to empower supervisors and managers with essential skills and knowledge in diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB). Participants will immerse themselves in interactive modules, covering crucial topics such as trust-building, navigating challenging communications, understanding generational diversity, and fostering connections within diverse teams.
