ICS 300: Intermediate Incident Command System for Expanding Incidents covers incident management strategies for emergency response to all-hazard incidents that involve ICS coordination. The three-day course utilizes scenarios and exercises within a team environment to facilitate participant discussion. The course delivery is a "less paper" delivery and course materials will be emailed to participants in advance of the course to download to your electronic device.

Join MARC staff and the manual development team to learn and practice with the design criteria and reference appendices in the updated KC Metro Chapter of APWA, Section 5600 manual. This half-day workshop is a designer‑focused session that will dive deeper into how to apply the updated criteria within site design, modeling, and documentation workflows. Attendees will learn how the updated manual integrates drainage quantity and quality, strengthens green infrastructure performance, and aligns with modern watershed management principles.

The Fall Line Trail has moved quickly from concept to construction in less than ten years thanks to unprecedented regional cooperation and funding, passionate and relentless community champions, the might of VDOT's construction prowess, and enthusiastic buy-in from localities who realize the transformative power of this 43-mile trail. Five miles of the trail opened this summer (Ashland and Hanover County) and major segments (Henrico and Chesterfield Counties, City of Richmond) will come on-line in 2026 and 2027 -- and the feasibility study was only published in 2020!

Join MARC staff and the manual development team to learn and practice plan review of projects compliant with the updated KC Metro Chapter of APWA, Section 5600 manual. This half-day workshop is meant to support municipal staff responsible for project review, permitting, and enforcement of the updated APWA 5600 criteria.

All meetings are open to the public.
